Manjummel Boys Effect: Today, I went on a trail in the Castle Rock trail in the Castle Rock State Park with my family. All along the way in the trail, wherever we saw a bigger pit, we shouted “Subashaey…😳”. Thank God there were not many people trekking on the Trail today!😀
“சுபாஷே…” - according to தமிழ் இலக்கணம் is “விளி வேற்றுமை” - simply means calling out someone by his or her name, it could be either a proper noun or a common noun. Let me give you the plot of the movie. A group of 8 to 10 friends (youth) from a Town in Kerala called Manjummel visits Kodaikanal for a trip. They try to be adventurous and enter into restricted area of Guna caves. One of the guys by name Subash accidentally falls into a pothole which is more than 3000 feet deep. The friends with the help of Tamil Nadu police try to rescue Subash, that is the movie. To reach Subash who is inside the pothole, they shout out “சுபாஷே…” all through out the movie! That is the story behind the new buzz 🐝 word “சுபாஷே…”😀
