Kennedy Middle School has been participating in National Science Bowl competition for the last 2 years. Last year, Rishabh was not part of NSB teams. But, this year (2025-26), he is part of NSB team 2. Going back to the past, yes - I played an important role in NSB club / team formation at Kennedy last year (2024-25) also!

There was Kennedy parent Shufeng Bai, who classified the NSB sample question papers about 200+ papers in OSTI website according to subject wise - General Science, Life Science, Earth Science, Energy etc using AI tools and generated in PDF formats last year itself. But, I was planning to generate it as text files, easy to edit, evaluate etc last year, but put the project into the back burner! :)

But, this year, when NSB school level selection test was announced in October 2025, just 10 days before the test, I generated text files of subject-wise and section-wise (MCQ questions and Short Answer questions) from the OSTI website sample papers. Yes, I spent almost 3 days working on it converting the PDF sample files to text based classification of questions.

After all my 3 days of work, when I was done with the academic project, I showed up my work to my wife with all the enthusiasm, but the only comment she gave me was "You are an old school!" She said she can classify these sample papers using AI tools in matter of minutes. And, yes she did a few papers and it did an okay job!!! But, I was like - you don’t even know what my Software application can do!!! Philosophically, it is the moment when I realized - "Yes, I know... Every Socrates has a wife!!!" 😳
